The general objective of the PartEnerIC project is the transfer of knowledge and technology between the Technical University of Cluj Napoca and the enterprises with research and development activities in the field of integrated circuits for the automotive industry.

This involves the development of new techniques for modeling, design, verification and characterization of the main types of high efficiency integrated circuits for automotive power management.

Expected results

Developing and validating optimized design methodologies for the three main types of integrated vehicle power management circuits to develop new energy efficient solutions:

Low-dropout linear voltage regulators (LDO);
DC-DC type charge-pump converters without external inductor;
DC-DC converters with external inductor.

2 LDO voltage regulators and 4 DC-DC converters designed and integrated into silicon as experimental prototypes

Designed and physically integrated integrated characterization platforms; prototype characterization reports
