"ARGNET- Structured Argumentation in a Web Context" PNII-IDEI PCE 170, (2008-2011)- contributed to fundamental research in argumentation and demonstrate innovative technologies validated in real-world scenarios such as HACCP safety standard, justifying audit decisions, structured arguments for medical decision support.
"Collaborative/Competitive Multi-Agent System Oriented on E-Business", CNCSIS A-990, (2005-2007) - exploring the opportunities of using intelligent agents in e-business: real-time pricing and auctioning, supply chain coordination, monitoring contract performance, matching client preferences with suppliers offer.
"Automating Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) for B2B Using Multi-Agent Systems" CNCSIS TD7-534, (2007-2008) - In the context of ODR becoming the predominant approach to settle e-commerce disputes, the research has proposed solutions for: contact negotiation and formation, automation dispute resolution mechanism for Small and Medium Enterprises, support for structured argumentation and mediation of complex disputes.
"Web services composition through ontologies", PNII TD 414, - creating of an environment supporting generation of bundle of services based on their value in the context of Semantic Web. The services are considered resources that satisfy needs and they have semantic descriptions mediated by agents. Results include a methodology for clientprovider cooperation based on quality models.
