The “Scientific Research and Continuous Training Center for Sustainable Automotive Technologies”, with the acronym SRCTCSAT works and operates inside University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest. SRCTCSAT mission is to develop and support innovative ideas and engineering projects, being dedicated to furthering knowledge and advancing understanding with regard to automotive domain. SRCTCSAT is a research and consulting unit with an interdisciplinary profile, being able to compete, manage and use funding opportunities offered by any country, any organization, any entity or any company around the world. SRCTCSAT is supporting activities, guiding scholarly resources and sustaining each other, and it is providing the needed environment for research and scholarly exchange, to facilitate exchanges between its members and those from similar units. SRCTCSAT provides Engineering Services, Training, Research and Development with regard to the following areas: vehicle dynamics, vehicle diagnostics, automotive systems design, powertrains, hybrid electric vehicles, transmissions design, mechatronic systems, bodies and structures, noise and vibration, active and passive safety, traffic optimization, vehicle mechanics, vehicle testing and diagnose, power engineering, hydraulics, renewable energy, vehicle electronics, modeling and simulation, hardware in the loop simulation, real time simulation, software implementation and design, process engineering, vehicle body design,but not being limited to them
