We have expertise in physical and chemical characterization, of supramolecular systems, Langmuir-Blodgett technique (LBT), LB mono- and multilayers, thin films, and multifunctional nanostructured materials, based on chitosan, proteins, amino acids, fatty acids, lecithins, cholesterol and gold nanoparticles as well as lipids, anti-oxidants, natural pigments and drugs, with applications in nanoscience and biotechnology.

In our Excellency Research (CEEX) Consortium, we have experience in R&D, physical chemistry, surface analysis and imaging using AFM, STM, TEM and SEM, thermodynamics and DSC, advanced FTIR, Raman and UV-Vis spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction and molecular modelling, for supramolecular multifunctional systems.
